Sugar Free, Low Carb, High Protein Cookie Butter
1 bag Blue Diamond Natural, Raw, Unsalted Almonds
1/3 cup Spectrum Organic Shortening
1 cup Powdered Tagatose
1 t Salt
Put
the almonds in a Vitamix and put it on high for 5 mins tamping down
continuously till its a paste. let it sit, 30 mns then return to it to
turn it on high tamping and tamping, again let it sit 30 mins, and
restart the machine, keep tamping till it finally "circulates" then turn
it of, scoop into a bowl and let cool. Add the salt and flavorings and
let mix a few secs till combined.
