Easy Homemade Breakfast Sausages With Maple BBQ Sauce
(no casings)
1 lb ground turkey
1 pack of chopped Turkey bacon, Jenny-O, Butterball or Oscar Mayer ONLY (for the fat)
1 t salt,
1/4 cup brown sugar,
1 t paprika,
1/4 t black pepper,
Dash nutmeg,
1/4 t cayenne pepper,
1 t sage
1/2 t thyme.
1 cup ice cubes
Put all of this into a food processor and process til smooth.
Put this mixture in a Ziploc bag and then snip off the corner and squeeze into
these sausage molds and freeze.
When frozen, pop them out and fry them or grill them with the BBQ sauce below
Maple BBQ Sauce
1 cup maple syrup
1 T Worcestershire
1/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1/3 cup Heinz Chili Sauce or Ketchup
1 small chopped onion
1 clove garlic minced
Put it in the blender and blend till smooth. Use.
