It's GRAVY!

MMMMMMMMM, so good!
Preesi's Gravy

2 large cans crushed tomatoes
1/4th cup Olive Oil
1 large onion chopped
1 green pepper chopped
1 red pepper chopped
1 yellow pepper chopped
8 cloves garlic chopped
1 T Fresh oregano chopped
1 T Fresh basil chopped
1 26 oz can beef broth
1 T salt
1 t FG pepper
1 pound ground chuck
1 pound sweet Italian sausage,loose or cut out of the casing
1 t to 1 T Red Pepper Flakes


Fry the ground chuck and Italian sausage in a little oil till seared and brown and broken up. Remove it to a plate.
Reduce the heat to medium.


Add the olive oil to the hot pan and saute the onion, and peppers in olive oil in a large skillet till translucent,
 Season with salt and pepper.
add garlic, stir,  wait a moment, then pour in tomatoes, broth, Add fresh chopped herb and red pepper flakes and salt and pepper.

 Simmer til reduced.
Check the seasoning and add more salt, pepper, or pepper flakes if desired
