Southwest High Falutin' Turkey Steaks and Polenta

2...1 inch thick slices of Boars Head Mesquite Smoked Deli Turkey

1 cup Polenta
4 cups water
1 t salt
butter
1/2 cup Pepper Jack Cheese


Put the water and salt in a pot, bring to a simmer
and slowly pour in the cornmeal in a steady stream,
stirring all the while, when its all in, cook
slowly stirring very occasionally for at least 15-20
minutes until it comes away from the sides of the
pot (sometimes this never occurs). Add a big glob of butter and the cheese, mix
thoroughly. Pour into a square container and
refrigerate...


Cut the Polenta and Turkey into equal sized shapes
and fry on both sides in hot oil in a pan till
golden

Arrange the fried shapes on a plate.

Drizzle with a mixture of BBQ sauce, White Vinegar
and Honey

Serve with Roasted Veggies, Corn Salad or Avocado, Mango Salsa or on top of Peruvian Aji Sauce (recipe here) as shown
