Peruvian Aji Sauce

This recipe is an adaptation from a recipe found on the internet. The original recipe went 404, so it disappeared. This is what I remember of it.

Peruvian Aji Sauce

Quarter head of lettuce
1 slice of white onion
1/2 cup Cilantro (packed)
Your choice of Jalapeno or Serrano chiles, to taste
1-2 cloves of garlic
splash vinegar
1/3 cup Mayonnaise
Salt and fresh ground pepper, to taste

Put all the ingredients in a blender, Vitamix, or food processor and process until smooth then add the lettuce and pulse till smooth.
Serve on anything
