Savory French Toast With Pastrami & Smoked Salmon Bacon

Savory French Toast

For each serving

2 slices thin Rye Bread
1 Egg
Very Thin Pastrami or Salmon Pastrami
Honey Mustard Dressing
2 T French Onion Dip
Salt and Pepper

 Beat the eggs in a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
Spread one slice of bread with the onion dip and top with another slice...

Soak the sandwiches in the egg mixture, turning a few times.

Make as many as you like.


Slice Pastrami into strips
Heat a skillet on high add a few tablespoons of olive oil and heat till shimmering, 
Fry the Pastrami strips till crisp
Slice the Smoked Salmon Pastrami into strips and bake in a 375 degree oven until crispy around edges.
Then fry the sandwiches.

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium high. Spray with Pam.

Fry the sandwiches until golden. place on a baking sheet and keep warm in a low 250 degree oven as you make more.

Serve with Honey Mustard dressing.
