Steak, Peppers, Onion, Tomato & Potato In A Taco/Ranch Gravy, Baked In A Frito Enhanced Crust
Taco Ranch Pot Pie
Frito Crust
1/2 cup Pulverized Fritos
3-1/3 cup Flour
2 sticks Butter, slightly softened
Cut all the butter into the flour and Fritos thoroughly and press half into the bottom and sides of a pieplate.
Roll the other half out on foil or parchment and place in the fridge to harden.
Make the filling
Filling
2 cups Finely Diced Steak
2 cooked Diced Potatoes
1/4 cup Corn
2 cups chopped multi colored Peppers
Taco Seasoning
1 diced Tomato
1 diced onion
1 Dried Guajillo Chili, toasted and finely crumbled
2 packs Taco Seasoning (Your choice, mild or hot)
1 pack Ranch
1-1/2 cups water
Fry the Steak in a large pot in oil until browned, then add the onion and peppers and fry till translucent. Then add the corn, potatoes, seasonings and water and cook till thickened, cool down till warm then pour it in the crust then peel the flat crust off the foil or parchment and place on top of the filled crust and top and seal and poke a few holes and bake
Bake at 350F until golden, cool. Cut and serve with cheese and sour cream on the side
