Foraging #7 Honeysuckle Syrup


Find a thicket of Honeysuckle and pull out as much as you can and brinng it home.
Immediately wash the branches and leaves and flowers with FIT produce spray and water, then triple rinse in clean water.



Lay it all on a towel and pick all the flowers you can off and place in a bowl, The yellow ones will be wilted, still pick them off. place in a sterile glass jar and then



Boil; 1 cup of sugar with 1/2 cup water and 1 T lemon juice. Pour over the flowers and sir.
Close the jar and let steep.

Serve on desserts, ice cream, beverages etc
