Artisanal Goodies #4 Lemon Pepper Cake

Zesty, crispy topped, warming you from the inside goodness.
Artisanal Goodies #4  Lemon Pepper Cake

    1 cup Lemonade Mix
    1 stick softened butter
    2 eggs
    1 t vanilla
    1 1/2 cups flour
    2 t baking powder
    1/2 cup milk
    1 T fresh ground pepper


Preheat the oven to 350oF
Grease and flour a round pan.


Put the Lemonade Mix, Butter, Eggs, Vanilla, and Milk in a bowls and beat till smooth

Whic=sk together the flour, baking powder and pepper in a bowl.

Add to the butter mixture and mix till smooth

Pour into the pan and spread it smoothly.

Bake for 30-35 mins or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Quickly remove fro the pan and dust the entire top with

1/3 to 1/2 cup Pulverized Lemon Hard Candy
and cover and let the candy melt and harden to the top
(I used pulverize LUDENS Lemon-Honey cough drops)

Slice and serve with whipped cream, lemon zest and a dusting of pepper.
