Crispy, Tender, Sweet, Beefy, and Umami
1 package Puff Pastry (from the Pillsbury area, not the freezer)
1 large Aldi Strip Steak, cubed
1 cup of My Meaty Mushrooms
1 cup chopped Carrots
1/2 red onion, sliced or chopped
1/2 cup Branston Pickle (store bought or my recipe)
Fry the steak in a little oil and S&P, til seared all over, then put it in the Instant Pot with a cup or two of water and put the lid on and cook sealed on Meat and 30 mins
Saute the onion, mushrooms and carrot in a skillet till tender, add the steak and the Branstons and the remaining broth in the pot and cook till syrupy.
Let cool.
Put parchment on a baking sheet. Spray with Pam, Cut 6 rounds of pastry and stuff with the steak mixture, seal.
Roll out the leftover dough and make 3-4 more
Bake at 350F till puffy and golden.
