Lemon Steak

 
Smothered Chicken Fried Steak with a Lemony Twist
 
 Lemon Steak
 
 
1 Strip Steak, pounded out flat
1 cup Flour
Tones Lemon Pepper
Water 
 
Mix 1/4 cup flour with water for a pancake batter like slurry
 
Mix the other 3/4 cup flour with the 1 T Tones
 
Dip steak into the flour slurry, then the seasoned flour and fry in a deep fryer until golden


Lets make a nice sauce:

1 t Lemon Oil.
1 T Olive Oil
1 T Butter 
1 T flour
1 sliced Onion
1 Garlic clove
1/4 t Salt
2 t Sugar
1 cup Chicken broth
2 T Lemon Juice
Red Pepper Flakes (If desired) 

2 T Butter 
 
Put the Lemon Oil, Olive Oil and Butter in a pan and melt it, Add the onion and fry till a lil golden, add the garlic, salt, pepper, and fry till fragrant, add the flour, then the broth, lemon juice, sugar and pepper flakes. Remove from heat and stir in another 2 T butter
 
Pour over the steak and serve
