Figs, Cornmeal, Honey and Fennel. Serve with Tea
Fig And Honey Claffouti
1 cup corn meal (toasted in a frying pan till golden)
1-1/2 cups Complete Pancake Mix
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1-1/2 cups Water
1/2 cup sugar

1-1/2 cups Water
1/2 stick Melted and cooled butter
1/2 t powdered Fennel Seeds
10 Figs, Halved
3 T Honey
1/2 t powdered Fennel Seeds
PHO to 350oF
Grease and flour a round cake pan.
Buzz the cool cornmeal in a Vitamix for 1 minute on high, set aside.
Mix everything together. Pour it into the pan
Gently lay in the figs, cut side up.
Bake 30-35 mins
While its baking warm the honey and mix it and fennel seed powder.
When its still hot brush on the honey.
Serve
