Sugar Free, Low Carb, High Protein Baklava



Sugar Free, Low Carb, High Protein Baklava


1/2 cup Honey Allulose or Sugar Free Honey (sold at Walmart near Peanut Butter section)
1 stick Butter
1/2 package Soy Skins
10 oz Chopped Walnuts
1/3 cup Cellulose

Soy Skins


Preheat oven to 350oF

Butter a small square pan.


Mix the Walnuts and Cellulose


Microwave the honey and butter until melted then add a teaspoon of the cellulose and whisk till homogenous




Roast the skins on a greased rack over a  cookie sheet, till they are starting to get crispy, 2-3 at a time.


Then start layering the skins and the walnuts in the square pan. Save one skin for top.

repeat until all nuts are gone.


Pierce the stack deeply all over with a sharp knife and carefully pour over the butter and honey



and top with last reserved sheet and brush with any remaining butter/honey mixture

Bake in a 350oF Degree oven for 20-25 minutes



Cut and Serve
