Christmas In August Ice Cream
1/4 t Green Apple Essence
1/4 t Clear Cinnamon extract
Green food coloring
1 quart Light Cream
2/3rd cup powdered sugar or Powdered Monkfruit
2 egg yolks
toasted sliced almonds
In a pot whisk together the cream, egg yolks and monkfruit/sugar. Then bring to a boil over high and boil while constantly whisking for 2 mins. You should see it get thicker.
Remove from heat and cover the surface with plastic wrap and cool completely.
When cool, color with food color and add the flavorings.
Then process in a ice cream maker and stir in the almonds and freeze.
Serve
