Orange Dreamcicle Cake With Tang Fondant And Breyers Ice Cream Cake


3 cups self rising flour
1.5 quart Breyers Vanilla Ice Cream, melted

Preheat the oven to 350oF
Grease and flour 2 square pans

Mix both ingredients together and pour into the pans and bake 20 mins
(no eggs so you dont need a toothpick)

 
Fondant

2 jars Tang drink mix (1 pound each), pulverized in the Vitamix into a fine powder. (reserve 2 cups)
1 bag mini Marshmallows
2 -3 T water
1/4 cup butter or coconut oil

Put the marshmallows and water in a big plastic bowl. Nuke in the micro for 30 secs, stir, nuke again for 30 secs more, Stir. It usually only takes 40 secs total to completely melt them.

Add the Tang mix and stir till combined then pour the remaining 2 cups onto a work surface, grease your hands and knead in the remaining dry mix on the surface.
Keep kneading with greased hands until its no longer sticky.
Put in a greased bowl and cover and refrigerate.

To assemble

Spread Coolwhip or more vanilla ice cream on one cake, top with the other cake, Shape like a popcicle,
Crumb coat with coolwhip,
Roll the fondant out and cover the rectangular cake, and then stick 2 tongue depressors in one side to make a giant creamcicle.

Note; When powdering the Tang, do all 2 jars in 6 batches.
Put 2 cups in the blender or Vitamix on low, variable, then crank it up slowly to 10 and then switch it to high for 1 minute. Pour what you made in a bowl, and repeat using the remaining mix till done.
