Margarita Cupcakes With Tequila Cream & Salted Candy Top

Salty, crunchy hard candy tops, and tequila spiked lime cream inside
  Margarita Cupcakes With Tequila Cream & Salted Candy Top

Before doing anything else mix the following together

1 cup Pulverized lime flavored candy
1 T sea salt

And set aside in a small bowl

Preheat an oven to 350oF
Grease and flour a cupcake pan

  1 cup sugar
    1/2 cup butter
    2 eggs
    2 t vanilla
1/2 cup sugar free Margarita Mix (LIQUID)
    1 1/2 cups flour
    2 t baking powder
Green food coloring (optional, I forgot!)

Place all in a blender, and blend till mixed.
Pour into the cupcake tin evenly and bake for 25-30 mins or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  
Immediately after removing them from the oven, tip the cupcakes out into the countertop. and dip the tops into the pulverized candy and salt. Set them on their bottoms to cool

Meanwhile

2 Packets San Sucre Key Lime Pie Mix (in the diet section)
1-1/2 cups Light cream, chilled
1/2 cup Tequila, chilled

Place all in a bowl and whip on high till thickened put it in the fridge to set completely
Place in a piping bag with a metal tip and fill the cooled candy coated cupcakes thru the sides or bottoms like a donut.

Serve
