These were inspired by the Nabisco Famous Chocolate Wafer Icebox Cake
Pizzelle Icebox Cakes
1 package Aldi Anisette OR Vanilla Pizzelles OR Chocolate ones
1 Tub Coolwhip
Vanilla or Chocolate Coolwhip Frosting
Each package of Aldi Pizzelles contain 4 inner packs. You can make 2 Cakes with 2 inner packs and one tub of regular CoolWhip.
Put a spoonful of regular CoolWhip on a plate, lightly press one Pizzelle onto the CoolWhip till you can see the CoolWhip poking out from the edge. Spread more CoolWhip on another Pizzelle and press down again to create the next layer, Finish one entire inner pack. Cover with plastic wrap and place in the fridge overnight. Then "Frost" with a complimentary flavor of the CoolWhip Frosting and decorate if you like.
You can slice these in 4s for a childs tea party..
