Korean Inspired Fish Sticks With Kimchi Tartar Sauce


 
 Sweet and salty and spicy and umami

 

 Korean Inspired Fish Sticks With Kimchi Tartar Sauce

Fish Sticks
 
2 lb Cod, sliced in sticks
1 cup Flour
1 Egg 
Salt and pepper 

Mix All in a bowl until the cod is coated with paste
Deep fry in medium temp oil till golden
Drain on paper towels

Drizzle

1 thumb Ginger, sliced in thin matchsticks
1 cup Brown Sugar
2T Toasted Sesame Seeds
1 t Crushed red Pepper
2 T Vinegar
S&P

Simmer this all in a pot gently, stirring often until syrupy, set aside

Drizzle over the fish and serve withe this fabulous sauce.

Kimchi Tartar Sauce

1/2 cup Mayo
1/4 cup minced napa Kimchi
1 clove minced Garlic
1 T chopped Chives
1/4 t Sesame Oil
2 T honey
Salt and Pepper

 Mix, chill and serve
