Flamin Hot Cornbread Stuffing For Turkey Or Chicken

 

 

 I chose to use the stuffing as the main picture since the stuffed cooked chicken is bizarre.

Bizarre, but delicious

 

 Flamin Hot Cornbread Stuffed Turkey Or Chicken

Make The Cornbread First


1/2 stick Butter
1 cup milk
1 egg
1 1/4 cups Pulverized Flamin Hot Cheetos (They are all corn)
1 cup flour
1 T baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt 

Mix everything together and pour into greased (grease it with bacon fat if you want) square pan and bake in a 350F preheated oven 25-30 mins

Make the cornbread into stuffing 

1 medium onion, chopped
1 t Bells poultry seasoning
3 stalks Celery Chopped 
1 to 1-1/2 cups Chicken broth
1/2 stick Butter 
Salt and Pepper
All of the above cornbread, cubed (freeze it to make it easier to cube)
 
Fry the onion and celery in the butter until translucent, add the Bells and S&P then the broth. put the cornbread cubes in a big bowl and pour over the broth and veggies and lightly toss.

 
One Turkey or Chicken Prepared YOUR way (Brined or not, or whatever)
 
Stuff the turkey, roast, eat
 
This Recipe Makes Enough For 1 Chicken.
Double or triple it for Turkey
 
 
FLAMIN HOT GRAVY
 

 
 
1 Large bag Flamin Hot Cheetos
Water
Salt and Pepper
Pan Drippings From The Turkey or Chicken
1/4-1/3 cup corn starch
 
Fill a medium pot with water and bring to the boil
Drop in the entire Bag of Cheetos and let steep for 10-20 mins. put thru a fine sieve saving the liquid and discarding the cheeto pulp
Bring the liquid and pan dripping to a simmer and seasoning with salt and pepper.
Simmer 5 minutes.
Mix the corn starch with cold water and then rapidly whisk into the liquid
until thickened. 
Strain and serve.
