NYC Bagel Shop Bread Pudding

Soooooooo good, make it next weekend

 NYC Bagel Shop Bread Pudding

 2 Bags Lenders Bagels, toasted and cut up and dried overnight on a table
1 box Chopped Cream Cheese
2 packs Aldi smoked Salmon, sliced into strips

Preheat an oven to 350oF

Butter a casserole dish

Place the Bagels, salmon, and cream cheese artfully in the dish, set aside

 
6 eggs
2 cups half & half
1-2 cups milk
salt & fresh ground pepper
2 cups white cheddar, shredded
 
2-3 T Trader Joes Bagel Seasoning
a little fresh chopped flat leaf parsley for color (optional)


Beat all the above together, pour over the now toasted bagels let sit for a few minutes to try and absorb the custard some (turning some toasts around and squeezing them a tad) Sprinkle with the Trader Joes seasoning and Parsley, then place into the oven for 50-60 minutes or until the liquid on a knife inserted in the center is non milky, it will be sticky but you dont want it to be liquid milky on that knife! If it starts to burn on top before its really done place a tin foil tent over it until done! 

 Serve
