Safety Egg Nog








Safety Egg Nog
Safe = No Salmonella, No Liquor

2 cups milk
2 cups heavy cream
6 egg yolks
1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
Nutmeg to your liking

Place the yolks in a saucepan, whisk till well  liquidy, add the sugar and whisk again til lemon colored, add the milk and whisk til well blended, add the vanilla and a dash of nutmeg and cook over high heat until it comes to the boil, take off heat, and add the cream, chill and serve in cups with perhaps some whipped cream or spiked with rum and a dash of nutmeg on top! enjoy!

Sometimes this gets a tad thick depending on the size egg you use and the quality of eggs, if it gets too thick add a little milk,

This Egg Nog tastes like that famous brand in the quart can. Yum
