Crab "Cake" Number 2
"Cake"
3 cups Self Rising Flour
1 (12 oz) Bottle of beer (a light one)
"Cake"
3 cups Self Rising Flour
1 (12 oz) Bottle of beer (a light one)
1 cup claw crab meat
5 chopped scallions
Salt
1/2 t Pepper
3 t Old bay
Preheat Oven to 350oF
Spray a loaf pan with Pam
Mix the Flour, Scallions, Salt, Pepper, & Old Bay.
Add the Beer and quickly mix then fold in the crabmeat.
Pour in the loaf pan and bake for 45-60 minutes or until its golden and a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.
Remove and cool.
"Frosting"
Mix the cream cheese and the crab and mix gently.
Now you can either make finger sandwiches or level the top and frost it like a rectangular "icebox" cake.
Either way, sprinkle with chopped parsley or chives.Serve
