Mystery Green Spice Loaf Cake

 

 

There are no spices in this, but the secret ingredient makes it taste like there is...

Delicious and makes your house smell so scrumptious. 

Serve toasted with honey butter if desired 

Mystery Green Spice Loaf Cake

Preheat an oven to 350oF

Grease a loaf pan

Whisk together, in a bowl

2 cups flour

3 t baking powder

 

 In a Vitamix, put

1 jar Sweet AMERICAN STYLE Gherkins, Drained

1-1/3 cup sugar

1 stick butter

2 eggs

2 t vanilla 

1/3 cup milk

A few drops of green food coloring.

And process on high for 1 minute, then pour it into the bowl containing the flour and mix thoroughly.

Pour into the greased tin and bake for 350-60 mins or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
