The sweetness of the Honey Mustard makes the smokiness pop!

Smokehouse Bakery #9 Smoked Egg Salad


12 Hard Boiled Eggs


1/2 cup Mayo
2 T chopped Vidalia onion
1/2 cup finely chopped Celery
1/4 to 1/3 cup any Honey Mustard
1/4-1/2 finely chopped Jalapeno
Salt and Pepper


Smoke the whole eggs for 3 hour with Alder wood.
(I have a Smokehouse Products Lil Chief smoker)
 Remove them from the smoker with tongs, and place in a plastic bag and refrigerate overnight

When ready to make,
Put on GLOVES (unless you want everything to smell of smoked food for 2 months)
Place in a bowl and mash the eggs with a wire potato masher
Add everything else, mix and serve
