Pizza Dough Croissants


NO MORE EXPENSIVE DOUGHS, DELICIOUS!


Pizza Dough Croissants

1 half frozen bagged pizza dough (Wegmans brand is ideal)
1 pound sticks of butter, half softened
1 egg, beaten

 Roll out the dough in a rectangle
 Spread one stick of butter in the middle
 Fold
 roll
 Spread another stick of butter
 Fold
 Roll
 Spread another stick of butter
 Fold and roll, spread the last stick of butter, forgot the picture



Fold and Refrigerate overnight

Then roll out, then fold, roll out then fold, roll out and fold, 5 times.
Refrigerate an hour then roll out completely


 Cut in triangles
 Roll up and place on a sheet with parchment, cover with a cloth and place in a warm area to rise one hour


Brush with beaten egg
Bake in a 350oF oven for 35 mins
