Savory Thanksgiving Cobbler



I used Whole Wheat Stuffing mix

Savory Thanksgiving Cobbler

Preheat the oven to 375 f

1 package fresh Bob Evans homefries with onion
2 pounds turkey filets (cut to the same size as the squash) seasoned with a bit of salt and pepper
1 pound peeled butternut squash or sweet potato rounds
1/3-1/2 cup Craisins

4 packs turkey gravy mix prepared with 2 cups water and 2 cups milk

Spray an oval baking dish with Pam. pour in the Bob Evans potatoes, add the Craisins and top with 1/2 the prepared gravy. 
Top with the turkey and squash medallions alternating layers till used up.

Make the cobbler topping

1 cups of powder from 1 box turkey stuffing pulverized n a Vitamix
1 cup flour
1 T Sugar
3 t baking powder
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup milk

 Mix the stuffing powder and flour and sugar and then cut in the shortening, then crumble and mix in the baking powder, Mix in the milk until combined then place flatted ovals on top on the turkey and squash...

Cover with the glass top or tin foil and bake for 1 hour until bubbly and brown. 
Serve. with remaining gravy on side.
