YUMMY for Cold Weather.
Fried Green Tomato Soup
2 Cans Canned Green Tomatoes
2 Cups Water
3 cloves Garlic, chopped
1/2 cup grated Parmesan
Jalapeno Tabasco (to taste)
Olive Oil
1/2 t Salt
1/2 t Pepper
Fry the garlic in 2 T oil till fragrant, then add everything else and simmer till hot.
Serve in bowls topped with the crunchy cornbread topping
Cornbread Crunchies
1 Box Stovetop Cornbread Stuffing
1/2 stick Butter
1/2 t Garlic Powder
Melt the butter and garlic powder and salt and pepper in a small baking tray, add the stuffing and toss then bake 10 minutes stirring occasionally, till nice and toasty.
