A sumptuous seafood delight!
Seafood Newberg Shortcake
White Lily Self Rising Flour
Heavy cream
1/4 t Salt
Pre-heat the oven to 375oF
Put Parchment on a cookie Sheet
and mix together a 2 parts flour to 1 part
heavy cream until it becomes a dough, and drop spoonfuls on the sheet and bake till golden.
about 15-20 mins
1 pound peeled cooked halved shrimp
1/2 pound cooked Lobster
1 plastic tub Jumbo Lump crabmeat
3 cups milk
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup flour
salt and pepper
1/3 cup Sherry (DO NOT OMIT, IT MAKES IT NEWBERG)
Melt the butter and flour in a pot until it bubbles, whisk in the Milk, Sherry and salt and pepper and stir till thickened.
Add the seafood, let simmer about 3 mins and serve over the biscuits.
Dust with Old Bay if desired
