Fresh, Light Seafood Salad
My uncles restaurant is long gone but I can still taste that seafood salad, with its light dressing that wasnt greasy yet it clung to every morsel of seafood.
In 1950 this salad was fine on its own, all you are supposed to taste is SEAFOOD.
Its not fancy...
It was special due to seafood being so expensive then.
It was a special treat to eat all that seafood.
The menu lists this as $21.00

But you can splash on some Franks Hot Sauce too. Or crumble in some Old Bay tato chips.
So good!
So good!
1 cup snow crab meat
1 cup jumbo lump crab meat
1 cup chopped cooked shrimp
1 cup chopped lobster
Toss all of the above in a bowl
2 T mayo
1/4 cup sour cream
2 T milk
1/3 cup finely chopped celery (I mean finely)
1 T grated onion
salt & pepper
dash celery salt
Mix all of the above together, then add a few spoonsful to the seafood and mix gently, it just needs to lightly coat the seafood. Add more if wanted and sprinkle with snipped chives
Serve as-is or in a Amoroso Roll
