The Flava! Multi Use Seasoning, Beverage, Condiment, Health Tonic
2 fingers Peeled Ginger knob
1 cup Peeled Turmeric
1 cup Peeled White Turmeric (ask your local Indian store)
1 cup Lemon and Lime Juice
I used my antique Rival Juice-O-Mat to juice the limes and lemons, quick, mess free and fast,
Get one on eBay, you wont get squirted, promise.
Anyway put it all in a Vitamix on high and 10 till its finely chopped
Now what?
Add a spoon to soup
Slather meats with it and roast
Add 1 T salt to a cup of the mix to preserve it in the fridge, to use as a condiment. Mix a teaspoon with mayo or sour cream.
Add a heaping spoonful and Manuka Honey to a glass of ice water as a Superfoods tonic
To preserve for Multi-Use (without the preserving effects of salt or sugar) pour into ZipLoc bags and freeze or freeze in ice cube trays!
My fave thing is to mix 1 t. with 2 T mayo as a dip for meat. Or add a spoonful to juice.
