Crunchy Onion Topping, Perfectly Cooked Green Beans & Deep Rich Creamy Mushroom Base
Deluxe Green Bean Casserole
1/2 recipe My Mushroom Soup
2 pounds Green Beans, cleaned and trimmed
1 cup Asian Fried Onions
1/2 stick butter melted and more for greasing
2 slices of toast
Preheat oven to 350F
Grease a casserole with butter
Cook the greenbeans halfway, drain away all moisture
Mix them with the soup, pour them into the casserole
put the 2 slices toast in a small food processor and pulse to make crumbs
Toss these crumbs with the fried onions and then mix this with the melted butter
Strew over the beans and bake till its bubbly, and the top is golden
