Two choices for each color!

Okay, so Ive worked really hard on this post.
Ive had to figure out 2 different, usable concoctions for each color.
Why? because some food color cannot be put in oil based foods and some cannot be used in water based foods. For instance, when making butter or shortening based frostings, you need a coloring agent that is fat soluble.

DO NOT PUT TURMERIC IN FOODS WITH A HIGH ACID CONTENT!
Turmeric turns RED when mixed with acid

Please be aware that these are still ALL NATURAL food colorings, as such they still retain some natural flavors, so be aware of that and dont be disappointed that your food has a remnant of the flavor of the coloring agent.

Blue -- Clitora/Butterfly Pea Flower Powder, Spirulina Powder
Orange -- Carrot Powder, Anatto Seed Powder
Yellow -- Turmeric Powder, Gardenia Fruit Powder
Green -- Spinach Powder, Pandan Leaf Powder
Purple -- Red Cabbage, Dried Blueberry Powder
Red -- Anatto Seed Powder, Beet Powder
Pink- Dried Red Dragon Fruit, Hibiscus Bud Powder
Brown --Caramel Color Liquid or Powder or Carob Powder

There is just one choice for these colors.
White -- Zinc Oxide Powder
Black -- Bamboo Charcoal Powder

If you want to make liquid food colors you can use the following mediums.

Hot water
Clear Grapeseed or Safflower Oil
Everclear
Glycerin

You can buy most of these powders on Amazon.
Some, like Red Cabbage need to be specially made.

For the red cabbage, dehydrate shredded red cabbage in a food dehydrator then pulverize in a Vitamix.

I bought the cute jars from eBottles.
