White Forest Cake


A Delicious White Chocolate Cherry Cake



White Forest Cake

    2 cups sugar
    1/2 cup melted raw cocoa butter
1/2 cup melted deodorized cocoa butter
    4 eggs, room temp
    1 Tablespoons vanilla
    3 cups flour
    4 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup milk room temp
1-1/2 Clear Cherry Extract

8 or 10 perfect, pitted Royal Anne Cherries
2 cups chopped Royal Anne Cherries
Preheat the oven to 350oF
Butter and flour 2 round cake pans

Whisk together the flour and baking powder
In a blender, blend the sugar, flavorings, milk, eggs. then add the melted mostly cooled cocoa butter. Blend completely
In a bowl combine both dry and wet.
  Pour evenly into the pans and bake 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Cool Completely

Real white chocolate ganache
3 bars of Aldi white chocolate broken up into a plastic bowl
3 cups Heavy cream

Place the bowl in the microwave for 1 to 1-1/4 minutes till its almost entirely melted, then stir it till its completely melted then get a whisk and quickly and vigorously whisk in the heavy cream till its thickened and smooth.
Frost the cake.


In the center, place chopped cherries over the ganache then top with next layer.
Garnish as shown.

Real White Chocolate is defined as Cocoa Butter, Milk powder and Sugar...
If your white chocolate bar doesnt contain only cocoa butter as the fat, its not authentic White Chocolate...
