1 Packet Unsweetened Grape Kool-Aid
4 cups washed halved purple grapes
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup water
2 cups Red Wine vinegar
1/2 t dried Basil
1 t Red Pepper Flakes
1/4 t ground Nutmeg
1/2 t dried Basil
1 t Red Pepper Flakes
1/4 t ground Nutmeg
1/2 t Salt
Simmer everything in a heavy bottom pot over medium heat for half hour, Take off heat and let cool till warm, Either use an immersion blender or a regular blender and puree till smooth. Put back in the pot and again simmer on medium for 20-30 mins or until it reduces to a corn syrupy consistency.
Use on Chicken or Pork. Or as a dipping sauce for Nuggets!
