Almond brittle With Smoked Almonds, Bacon And Chipotle Dust

Grease a cookie sheet before you do anything

1 cup cup sugar
1/2 cup corn syrup
1/2 cup water

Boil the above till the sugars dissolved, Then add

1 cup smokehouse Almonds
1/2 t salt

Boil till it reaches 300 degrees (hard crack)
then add the following.

1 T butter
1/2 t baking soda
1 t Vanilla

Then add

1/3 a jar of real bacon bits

Turn off heat and carefully pour it all onto the greased sheet. spread it out while still warm

Dust with

Chipotle Dust

1/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons Chipotle powder
2 teaspoons Cinammon
1 t Wilton Food Glitter

Break up into pieces and eat
