German Pizza With Pretzel Crust


Crust

2 pack quick yeast
2 T sugar
1-1/4 cup pulverized pretzels
1-3/4 cup flour
2 T oil
1-1/2 cups warm water

Whisk together the flour and pretzels, yeast and sugar and knead in the water until its combined, knead 5 minutes

Place in a oiled bowl and cover and let sit one hour covered in a warm place.

Then punch down, knead lightly and press into a pizza pan, set aside for a few minutes then top and bake.

German beer cheese

2 T flour
2 T butter
1 cup milk
1/2 cup German beer
1 T Dijon
1 T whole grain mustard
Salt and pepper
2 cups sharp cheddar

 Melt the butter in a pot, add the flour and stir until it bubbles.
Whisk in the milk, beer, mustards and cheese.
Season with salt and pepper.
Serve.

Beer cheese
Sauerkraut
Black Forest Ham
Sharp Cheddar

Bake at 350oF for 30 mins
