Shake And Bake Pork Chops And Candied Sauerkraut Relish
Candied Sauerkraut Relish
1 bag of Sauerkraut (and brine)
1/2 a 1lb bag Dried Apples (do not use fresh apples)
1 large sweet onion rough chopped
1 T Coarsely ground Caraway Seeds
1-2 chopped red hot pepper
4 cups sugar (Brown, White or Allulose-For Keto)
1/2 cup white, cider or malt vinegar
1/2 cup whole grain mustard
1/2 cup white, cider or malt vinegar
1/2 cup whole grain mustard
1 t salt
1/2 T Pepper
Bring the above to a boil over high heat , then reduce to medium and let boil 20 minutes.
Cover, then let sit 24 hours
After 24 hours add 1 more cup sugar, let boil on medium for 10-15 mins.
At the end, pour into a sterilized jar, cool and then refrigerate,
Serve over meats and cheeses or Shake And Bake Pork Chops
