Sometimes I experiment to give old fashioned cooks an alternative to an old fashioned ingredient that no longer exists or isnt readily available.

I was at Shop N Bag the other day and saw CELERY and it made me think ALTERNATIVE TO CANDIED ANGELICA!

So I bought a head and candied it.

UGH! It smells so awful! I even tried adding a ton of vanilla and rose water. NOPE!

It looks like candied Angelica but is gross!
