2 Blocks of Super Super Firm Tofu
A Smokehouse Products Lil Chief Smoker
Alderwood Chips
3 T salt
1-1/2 cups hot water
Dissolve the salt in the water completely.
Cut the tofu in 4 slabs and place in a Ziploc,
pour the saltwater over all and push out as much air as possible, and close
Refrigerate overnight
Next day, smoke in your smoker for 3 hours.
Remove with tongs and use as a great tasty meat sub in anything
BUT
The best way is slicing it thin and frying in oil til brown as vegan bacon
